Well, we FINALLY made it to Vegas!! We got here in kind of a round about way, but we made it!! We left bright and early on Thursday morning... outta the house by 5:15 and in the air by 7:30. Our first flight (3 hours) took us to snowy MN.

We had an hour and a half layover (just enough time to enjoy a McDonald's
cheeseburger and fries which I've craved this whole pregnancy) in MN and then boarded a plan Vegas bound. The ride was pretty
turbulent, but thankfully they were showing "Love Happens" which diverted my attention from the all the motion. Unfortunately John and I couldn't sit together but I sat next to an older couple that was just as sweet as can be... Morris and
Mauracel from Nebraska. They own a locker plant where the butcher animals and make jerky. They have three kids, 2 boys and a girl. The boys live in Nebraska and the girl lives in Alaska. I learned a lot about them considering we were in the air MUCH longer than we were supposed to be... The captain came over the loud speaker to say that we were circling the Vegas airport because the weather was bad and we didn't have clearance to land. So we circled, and circled and circled which seemed like forever. The pilot came on again about 40 minutes later to say that we were running low on gas and that we couldn't continue to circle so we were being diverted to Los
Angeles!! Ugh. So we flew another 45 minutes to LA where we landed and then sat on the plane for 1.5 hours until they could figure out what to do with the 225+ people on board!! We were finally allowed to
deboard where we were told the plane would not depart until Friday at 6:00 a.m. (by that time it was 4:30 p.m. on Thursday).
Grrrrrr!! So, we got a room at a hotel and departed first thing Friday. We landed in Vegas Friday at 7:45 and actually arrived at the same time Lesa and John arrived!!

We're in Vegas to attend my friend's daughter's wedding. Marlene (below) was by business partner until she retired and relocated to Park City, Utah. Her daughter is getting married TONIGHT. We visited with Marlene yesterday just briefly as she's doing all the last minute things weddings entail. It was so wonderful seeing her. She shared with me that she saw a T
erra card reader a few weeks earlier... The T
erra card reader said, "I see you have your daughter Andrea, but you also have another daughter." Marlene told her that she didn't, that she only had one daughter. The woman said, "No, I see you have another daughter. Or a woman that you care for like a daughter. She's pregnant."
Marlene said, "Oh my gosh, Leah". And the woman shared with her that I'm having a BOY!! HA!! So funny because I feel very strongly, also, that we're having another boy!!

Last night Lesa, John, John and I went and saw the Beatles LOVE Cirque
de Soliel show. It was INCREDIBLE.
Absolutely spectacular.

Adrey has spent the last two nights with Sarah and is heading to Gigi and
Boppa's house tonight. I miss him so much. I can't wait to get home to him. I absolutely LOVE spending this time with John but it's obvious something is missing. Something 3 feet tall with a
pacifier and a ducky:-(
Sarah sent us an email with some pictures the other night. I laughed so hard at the email and had to reread it 3 times. It read as follows:
Dear Mom and Dad,
Please tell Aunt Sarah that I'm WAY too big to have a bath in the bathroom sink. She told me that she hurt her back today (I wasn't aware she was so old) and that she couldn't bend over the tub. She assured me that it would be fun, but MAN, was she WRONG!! The spout was sticking me in the side, but by the time I was all soapy there was no turning back. I have to give her credit for trying to be upbeat during the whole ordeal, but I had a hard time hearing her over my screaming. For someone so extremely good looking, she's not very bright. I have forgiven her, as she made it up to me with a big sippy cup of warm milk and a snuggle on the couch. But I made it clear to her that it better not happen again. I love you and miss you, but please have fun. Aunt Sarah, Uncle Kerry, Katelyn and Allison love my VERY much and are taking good care of me!
Love, Adrey
P.S. I think it is HYSTERICAL when Uncle Kerry throws Cheerios in the air and catches them in his mouth!!
