Drum Roll Please.....

Yes, the cat's out of the bag!! We're expecting Baby Ritchey #2!! And we could..... not..... be..... HAPPIER!!! We feel so blessed to be expanding our family! My due date is 4th of July so we may have a firecracker baby! The response to our news has been so overwhelmingly wonderful! Thank you to ALL of you that have sent such wonderful emails, texts and voice mails congratulating us!

When John saw the picture of Adrey announcing our news (by the way... that was "pre haircut" and I think that can officially be called a MULLET!! I laughed out loud when I saw that picture because his hair was so out-of-control cute!) he said, "Adrey really looks excited about the news, but I don't think he'll feel that way when the baby is actually here!".

So this is my excuse for my "bloglessness". I remember being tired when I was pregnant with Adrey but I don't EVER remember being as tired as I am this time around. I am just drained by the end of the day and am often in bed BEFORE A-man... like before 8:00! I've had to put quite a few things on the back burner as of late because my battery is just never charged enough! That will soon pass though, and every second of it is worth it!

Well, I believe I mentioned in a previous post that Adrey enjoys LAUNCHING the Christmas ornaments across the house... we'll we're officially down 5 and a half (I operated on one and managed to get him back together) ornaments now and the tree has only been up a week!

He's OBSESSED!!

I have to explain the next picture.... Our Christmas tree lights are operated by a button you step on that turns the lights on and off. It's super easy and I love it. I did NOT want Adrey to discover it though because I KNEW he'd be playing with it ALL THE TIME (his reputation precedes him) so I made a "button" out of red construction paper and put it on the wall. I tell Adrey to "push" the button and when he pushes it I step on the lights so that he think HE'S turning on the tree. And boy does he LOVE doing that! It totally "brightens" his day! LOL! Oh my gosh he's so flippen' cute I can't stand it!

Adrey LOVES raspberries and thanks to Boppa, he now like to PLAY with them before eating them! It's the cutest ever!!

And he thinks it's HILARIOUS!

Today was "Snow Fest" and the plan was to meet in the neighborhood for donuts and juice and then walk over to the festival but it was POURING RAIN outside. So the party shifted to our house (which I LOVED) and the kids ended up just playing in the playroom for a couple hours!

We ended up having quite a crowd!

The rain FINALLY stopped so a couple of us went over the festival where they had mounds of homemade snow for the kids to climb on. Adrey wanted NOTHING to do with the snow but was ALL about laying on ground (he was soaking wet by the time we left) and LICKING the cement!! What? I seriously couldn't believe I was saying out loud "Adrey, please stop licking the cement."!! And when I pulled him up he was none too pleased with me! LOL! Was a fun day though and glad we did it! Am so glad everyone could come over today. Love you all.
