Santa came to town....

I've been "working" on uploading this post for three days now but keep getting sidetracked! Santa came to our neighborhood on Thursday. He comes every Christmas Eve and the local fire department is gracious enough to give him a ride. I assume the reindeer were resting their hooves in preparation for the long evening ahead of them. John heard the sirens so I scooped up Adrey and we ran outside. We could hear the sirens getting louder but couldn't see the truck at first. Adrey was so curious! It was precious!

When I actually caught sight of Santa, an overwhelming emotion came over me and I just started crying. I know my hormones are all over the board right now with the pregnancy, but I found it to be so emotional. Emotional because I was holding OUR baby in MY arms waving to Santa. Christmas has a whole new meaning now and it hit me like a ton of bricks. It was a wonderful feeling.

Christmas Eve we headed to church where Adrey was a COMPLETE angel the entire service. Honestly, he must have known Santa was coming because he couldn't have behaved more perfectly if he tried. It was the cutest thing ever.

Christmas Day we were up bright and early and were welcomed with a beautiful array of gifts that Santa left under the tree.

We started with our stockings in bed.

Had a little breaky and then dug right into the BIG stuff!!
He got a car he can ride in which he LOVES!!
And some match box cars. Loves those too. It came with a devise that he can push a button and it shoots the cars out. Loves that.
He even got his very first suitcase for his overnight visits with Gigi and Boppa.
And Lesa got him a cell phone that when you press the button, it's Lesa's voice saying "Merry Christmas Adrey. I love you and miss you!" And the second you say "hello" to Adrey he puts the phone right up to his ear.

After our Christmas, we headed to the Waynes for breakfast and to give our gifts to the girls. John's BIG gift was also waiting for him there. He got the MOTHER of all printers... a LASER, wireless, printer, scanner, copier, fax... it might even do the dishes... I'll have to refer to the manual. Regardless, he loves it!! I knew he would:-)

Notice Allison's PINK, SPARKLY shoes? Yeah, I got her those. And she loves them!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE OF GIGI AND ADREY.
Melts my heart!

Check out Adrey's festive socks...

John and Kerry got new golf bags that came with cloth covers for the clubs. They decided to try them on for size... This picture cracks me up!

Gigi and Boppa got Adrey this electric sink (thanks Ella for the idea) and Adrey is obsessed with it!! He mostly just likes removing the water from the sink and pouring it on himself or the ground, but whatever floats his boat!! As long as he's having fun!!

This next picture was taken just after we saw a plane. It's his oh-my-gosh-did-you-just-see-that look!!

Um. Yeah. LOVE. THIS. PICTURE.
It's my new desktop picture!

He especially liked this part...

Hope EVERYONE had as MERRY of a Christmas as we did!!
