Saturday morning we had a garage sale to clear out all the stuff we've been needlessly hanging on to for years. We cleaned out our storage unit (yes, we have so much stuff we require a storage unit) and tons of stuff from our home! I am so mad at myself for not getting a picture of our driveway. We got up at 5:45 and got organized. We had everything all outside and set up by 6:45 and people started looking at 6:55! It was mass chaos at times there were so many people! We made $363!! And together my parents, sister and Grandma made $180 with all of their stuff they brought over!! Was a profitable day for us! And we were left with only a couple boxes of unwanted items which found a home at Goodwill.
Saturday afternoon we headed to the park that's just around the corner from our house. They county completely redid the park and it's fabulous. ALL NEW equipment, mulch and fence. It's so nice and CLEAN (for now at least). I can't get enough of watching Adrey walk, especially when he's in a setting like this. I couldn't stop snapping away. We set him down and he b-lined it right to the slide!
With a little assistance from Mommy he slid down the slide.
I'm not quite ready to let go... but he is!
And his tongue is always in motion. It helps him think... and maneuver.

There was a birthday going on and Adrey kept staring at all the kids. I think he felt a little intimidated because they were all so big. At one point, there was a boy sitting on TOP of that piece of equipment and he was blowing bubbles and all the other kids saw the bubbles and started crowding around the equipment to try to "catch" them and were practically on top of Adrey. I could see the panic in his eyes, so Daddy quick scooped him up!

And out of ALL the new playground equipment, Adrey's favorite thing at the park are the parking stop thingy and the speed bumps! I yi yi! But he was having fun so that's all that matters. And it was so cute to see him go over the parking stop because he was so careful...

And Adrey loves birds.... and planes. Everytime he sees one he points and then looks at us so we acknowledge that he's sees them. As I mentioned in a previous post, Adrey LOVES the moon and stars. I keep saying that Adrey is going to be an astronomer or an astronaut. Or a Walmart greeter because he waves at EVERYONE and EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME. And that freakin' melts my heart. I LOVE that he does that!! You should have seen him at the garage sale waving at all the people and the cars going by! LOL!

Sunday we spent the morning at home just playing and then Sunday afternoon while Adrey was napping, Mommy went to Tommy Bahamas with all the girls from my neighborhood! Was such a nice, relaxing time. It was so nice catching up with them. They're such great people and I'm so lucky to have all of them within walking distance from our home!!
