Um, hello, can you say PUERTO RICO??!?!?? John won an ALL EXPENSE PAID vacation to Puerto Rico!! After a few tears and lots of kisses goodbye to Adrey, John and I left bright and early Wednesday morning... Puerto Rico bound!! We departed from Miami so John and I made the trek across Alligator Alley headed to Miami International. I was in somewhat of a poopie mood (John may disagree and say "a FOUL mood", but what does he know) having just left Adrey and completely stressed out with all I was leaving behind at work.
But anyhoo, we arrived at the airport, just in the nick of time. Once on board the plane, I quickly realized we had to be the only two people on the flight that had showered that morning. And I'm 100% certain we're the only ones that applied deoderant prior to boarding. Ugh. Seriously, my nose almost exploded. As we're walking down the aisle I saw two empty seats next to an oversized, greasy man and closed my eyes and said a short prayer that those seats were not 32D and 32E. But there were. So, I sat in the middle of the oversized, greasy man and John and breathed out of my mouth for the remainder of the trip!! UGH!!

Anyhoo, we arrived in Puerto Rico safely and were greeted by cute little people holding GFS signs when we got downstairs! I've always wanted to be greeted by people with signs! LOL! They were so nice too. We grabbed our luggage and loaded the bus and were dropped off at our hotel... THE RITZ CARLTON!! Oh... my.... gosh it's beautiful here!! First thing I saw was the CASINO sign so we headed straight for the Wheel of Fortune slot machine where I, in less than 3 minutes, threw away $20!
Last night we attended the company dinner where awards were given out. Was a really nice event. Today we got up early, had breakfast and then headed to Old San Juan to do some sightseeing and shopping! We got some really cool pictures of the scenery. First we went to an old military fort...
I had to take a business call in the middle of it. Maybe I'll sell a property while in PR!!
When we got back to the hotel, John did some investigating and I got a facial. Big sigh.... Then we went to a FABULOUS restaurant for dinner. The coolest ambiance ever. After dinner we hit the casino and played blackjack for close to an hour! So much fun! I walked away a few dollars poorer than I arrived, but John left $250 richer... so, together, I think we broke even! Tomorrow we're headed to the rainforest to check out the scenery then John's going ZIPLINING!!!

i just showed adrey the pic of you guys, and he smiled, laughed and pointed at it. he loves you... but because i am so much fun, he isn't missing you TOO much! (but he did tell me he can't wait for you to get home!)
