I completely forgot to post pictures from our night at the Beach Club LAST Sunday night! As I had mentioned, we had a cold front come through so it was DELIGHTFULLY chilly! We packed some food, a couple cold beers, our lawn chairs and Adrey's lion (LOL!) and headed to the Beach Club to listen to some live music!!
Adrey had a ball!
It really did get chilly (I know all you Michiganders think we're being wimps when we say it's cool.... and you're probably right!!), so we bundled up!
And Adrey just helped himself to whatever he wanted...

Miah Jane was passed around like a cheese plate that night. It was so chilly and she was so toasty warm, everyone wanted her to snuggle up with. Oh my goodness she is so yummy.
We all sat and chatted while the kids played ball and hide-and-seek in the yard behind us.

Friday Adrey and I went "reverse trick-or-treating"... we visited my office so that Adrey could pass out candy and show off his Halloween costume. Needless to say, he was a BIG hit!!
I work with the greatest group of people. They're just really good, down-to-earth, kind people. They all enjoy watching Adrey grow.
And then Friday about 4:30, we headed over to Ella's house for a playdate. Allison came with us.
Ella had a fun, outdoor sink that Adrey was OBSESSED with. An outdoor sink filled with REAL water that Adrey could splash all over the place! I think I know what Santa will be bringing Adrey this Christmas!!
And while the bigger kids did crafts, Adrey continued playing in the sink!
Saturday night John and I went to a wedding. Our friends Jackie and Rod got hitched. I FORGOT MY CAMERA!! I can't believe I have no pictures to post of this lovely event. It really was a fun night and we couldn't be happier for the bride and groom! This morning Daddy wasn't feeling so great (ha ha ha) so Mommy and Adrey decided to let Daddy sleep in and we carved a pumpkin. Adrey was not quite sure what to make of the whole thing....
And this was the final product. I have to say, I'm quite pleased with the end result. John especially likes the eyebrows!!
This afternoon we went to Adrey's friend Brennan's first birthday party. We arrived about 3:25. When we got there we noticed all the food was picked over, which we thought was strange, but didn't think too much more of it. Then I heard Brennan's daddy say something about how Brennan had already had his cake. I was surprised to hear that he had already done the cake when the party only started at 3:00. So asked someone what time the party started and she said 1:00!! I yi yi... we were only 2.5 hours LATE. Sheesh what is wrong with me! LOL!! Our social calendar has been jam packed these days... I was bound to screw up at some point!
