Well, Adrey had quite a productive Saturday!! FOUR things to post in his 2009 album, TWO of which we captured on video!! The four cute, adorable, monumental things are:
1. His SECOND tooth broke through!!
2. John lowered his crib to the second to lowest level.
3. Adrey PULLED himself UP, people!?! Isn't that so cool?!?!
4. I put Adrey down for his afternoon nap and I left the room as usual, and a few moments later he started to cry, which he NEVER does. John went and checked on him and he had his pacifier and he seemed to calm down, so he left. A minute later, Adrey started to cry again. I went in and noticed he didn't have "Quacky", his little duck blankie. I found his blankie and brought it to him and his eyes rolled back and he went right to sleep! He was crying for his blankie!! How stinkin' cute is THAT?!?! He LOVES his blankie. He sleeps with it every night and every nap and loves to hold on to it. It's super soft and cuddly. It just melts my heart that he has something he loves so much!!
OK, now to back track on the occurance of these events.... Adrey has not expressed ANY interest in crawling, pulling himself up, none of that. But yesterday morning I asked John if he would lower the crib because I felt like it could happen at any time and didn't want to do it too late! SO, John lowered the crib and IRONICALLY, later the SAME day, Adrey pulled himself up!! We were able to catch it on video and you can hear my excitement. I act like I thought he was going to be sitting his whole life and that I never expected this! I actually lost control of the camera trying to "catch" him, but resumed filming, so keep watching! It's really quite cute!
The other video is of Adrey just a few minutes later. We thought since he was pulling himself up that we'd have him assume the "crawling position" and give it a whirl. He's not really interested in doing it, but I can see the wheels spinning in his head!! While he was in the position, all the sudden he started cracking up... I have no idea what got him laughing, but he was being so super silly! It was such a fun moment!!

Way to Go Adrey! You are doing wonderful! He is so cute! And i think he looks so much more like you now! Gosh I miss him/you guys! We need to get together!
