Adrey held his bottle for the first time on Wednesday night!! Look at his pinky finger!! Like he's sipping tea! LOL! He would still prefer us to hold the bottle so that he can move his hands around. I always say that Adrey has RAS (restless arm syndrome) because when we feed him his arm just goes crazy and he hits us in the face and then hits his leg, back and forth, all over the place!! He doesn't even realize he's doing it... in his own little world!!
Adrey and I went out to lunch on Thursday with Suzanne and her 10 month old daughter, Presley. Presley is SO cute... and has the BLUE-est eyes I've ever seen!! She is such a good baby too. She just sat there the whole time, as content as could be!! Adrey was just not himself at lunch. The first 3o minutes we were there he was crying and just so unhappy. He only had a 3o minute morning nap, and he ended up falling asleep in my arms while we ate.

He perked up at the end so I could snap a few pictures!!

Afterwards, we walked around Waterside a few times and enjoyed good conversation. Adrey fell asleep again in the stroller.

They played footsies...

Sweet babies...

After lunch we got home and Adrey felt really warm to me. I thought maybe the sun was just on him in the car. I stripped him down to his diaper so he could cool off and gave him a bottle. He still felt warm so I took his temperature.... 102.2!! Poor baby! The rest of the afternoon he was so tired and lathargic. All he wanted to do was snuggle and be held. As much as I HATED that he didn't feel well, I welcomed the opportunity to hold him close the rest of the day:-) He was up about 5 or 6 times in the night and ended up in my bed. He woke up Friday without a fever but he's still not quite himself. His spunky personality is back, but his appetite isn't as good. I think it's all part of the teething. I'm sure he'll be back to new in no time!!
THOSE DARN TOOFERS!!!
