A weekend of fun...

What a great weekend! Friday night we had all of my family over for dinner, including my Uncle John, Aunt Bonnie and cousin Michael, in town from Montana. We ate pizza and chatted. Love those kinds of evenings. Saturday morning John drove to Port Charlotte and met some of his friends from Bradenton to play golf. Adrey and I went toy shopping. I have been feeling as though Adrey has been "bored" with his current selection of toys, so we had to go buy some fun, new toys to drum up some new, different energy!! Twas fun shopping for it:-) Then we went to Joann's Fabrics and bought a TOY CHEST!! Yay!! I real toy chest. And all of his new toys fit perfectly in it.

Saturday night I met a group of my friends out for dinner to celebrate Joanne, Kelly and Lynn's birthdays!! They all have January/February birthdays! We went to Blu Sushi. Oh, and what a great opportunity for me to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Joanne who is PREGNANT!! Yup... Due September 22nd!! Baby Bean Beckman.... can't wait to meet ya!!

Oh, and it wasn't over after a delicious sushi dinner. The feeding frenzy continued on at COLDSTONE CREAMERY! Oh... it's my favorite.... Cake batter ice cream with Oreo cookies. La la la la la Seriously... it doesn't get better than that. My mouth is presently watering.

And Sunday... Sunday morning John and I did something so super exciting, but I can't share the details until I know it's a done deal. Stay tuned for that one:-) But I can tell you that Sunday afternoon, our sweet Susan was showered with gifts at her beautiful Bridal Shower! Susan and Brian are getting married in Sonoma, California on June 6th. We are so happy for Susan and Brian... they are so perfect for one another. A couple we feel blessed to know and have in our lives.
