Merry Day After Christmas!!

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Christmas!! We certainly did! It was a really special day at the Ritchey household. Adrey woke up and we put on his "Baby's First Christmas" outfit... and his Santa hat of course! John had his Santa Clause boxers and his Santa hat on with Adrey in his outfit and it was SO cute I couldn't stop laughing! I got a picture of them together but John said I wasn't "allowed" to post it on the blog! He's probably right, that it's not appropriate to post half naked pictures of him on the blog, but it was SO adorable!!
Adrey was OBSESSED with the wrapping paper! All he wanted to do was eat it!! So funny! Below is our first annual Ritcheys-in-our-jammy-jam-jams-in-front-of-the-Christmas-tree picture!! We're going to do it each year so we can see the progression! Wow... to think how many people will be standing in front of the tree and what we'll all look like 10 years from now... wow...

After the three of us had our Christmas together, we packed up and went down to the Waynes house for breakfast. I made a super duper yummy (and so easy to make) breakfast dish... Here's the link to the recipe if anyone's interested... http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=554787 . I think everyone had seconds!! My sister made french toast and we had mimosas!! Hmmmmmm!! Here are the best Christmas presents EVER....

At 1:00 we made our way over to my parents house where the food, drinks, presents, laughter and cheer continued on!! Poor Katelyn wasn't feeling well so the second she got there she layed down and ended up sleeping for two hours:-( Allison couldn't wait so she opened her presents!!

Nana, Adrey's great grandma, got Adrey a helicopter toy that plays music, sings numbers and letters and lights up... it has little balls that you can stick in the top. He really likes it and it keeps his attention. He's very curious about everything.

My parents got the Ritcheys and the Waynes SUCH a special gift. We all had to open at the same time. Here we are opening....

They had these slate plaques made for us that hang on steel iron rods in the garden!! Oh my gosh... I LOVE IT!!! It is so adorable! I can't wait to stick it in the ground (I forgot the post at my parents house so that'll have to wait I suppose).

Christmas 2008 also marked a significant day in Adrey's life... Adrey rolled over (from front to back) for the FIRST time in front of an audience AND caught on video!! What are the chances of that!! I love it!! Since then, he's rolled over two more times!! Such a "big" boy!!

Christmas was extra special this year because we had someone new to share it with. Adrey is such a wonderful blessing and we couldn't be happier or more in love if we tried. And to all those reading this blog... WE LOVE YOU TOOOOOOO! We hope you and your families had a wonderful Christmas filled with love, laughter and lots of hugs and kisses. xoxoxo
