Adrey's 1 month check up went great!! He weighed 9 lbs. 12 ozs. and was 22 1/4 inches! He's in the 50th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height! His incision from the surgery is healing well she said. As I mentioned yesterday his umbilical knot still hasn't fallen off! It's hanging on for dear life! The nurse put some silver nitrate on it to help it come off. I reminded her of the guy on Oprah that turned blue from silver nitrate and she assured me the same wouldn't happen to Adrey! Phew!! HA! He had to get a Hep B shot today... something he was none too happy about!! BUT, it was quick and I had a bottle ready for him to eat the second he was done, so I think he forgot about it pretty quickly. After his appointment, the three of us went to Starbucks for a celebratory (because of the healthy update) cup of joe! Above is a picture of him right when we got home... sacked out!!
