Was a GREAT Christmas!!! Loved everything about it except that it went by too fast. I LOVE the holidays. I love the craziness that precedes it, the schedule, the last minute shopping, the added stress, the lights, decorations, Christmas music.... I love it all. But for some reason on Christmas morning there's just a WEE bit of me that feels just a WEE bit sad that's it's almost coming to an end. It's like your wedding day. You spend months preparing for it and it's over in the blink of an eye.
Sooooooo, smarty pants me decided that this year we would take our "Annual Ritchey's in our Jammies in front of the tree picture" on Christmas Eve after church so that we would all be showered and purty as opposed to Christmas morning!!
Aunt Judee got these jammies for the boys for Christmas and I'm OBSESSED with them. They are SO soft and snuggly and such bold colors. LOVE. THEM.

Then Adrey got behind the "wheel" and took some pictures!

The boys went to bed and John and I turned into elves. We finished a little wrapping, put together some presents (to watch John trying out one of Adrey's toys click HERE), ate Santa's cookies... ya know, the usual night before Christmas kinda stuff! When it was all said and done and the lights were out, the tree and all the presents underneath it looked beautiful.
I was the FIRST one awake Christmas morning. I layed in bed chomping at the bit waiting for the boys to wake up. Any other day of the year the boys are up by 7:00, but Christmas Day Charlie didn't wake up until 7:45 and we had to open Adrey's door at 8:20 to kinda get him stirring! After we opened our presents, the Waynes came over for brunch... French bread casserole, hash brown casserole and a cream cheese danish (delicious recipe compliments of Aunt Jeanne:-).... oh, and some mimosas too!
After breakfast we were all hanging out in the play room. Charlie crawled all up on Sarah and was lovin' on her like there was no tomorrow. It was so adorable! He sat right on her chest and kept leaning forward and giving her big bear hugs and kisses!

After brunch we chilled for a couple hours then headed to the Waynes' house where my parents, Grandma and Stacia were there for family fun!
Mom and Dad surprised us all with a week CRUISE in July! Oh. My. Gosh. We were all floored and so freakin' excited! HOLY FUN!
Such a great Christmas Day. We are so extremely blessed.
The day after Christmas we headed to hhgregg to see if we could catch any post Christmas deals on some things we need. The boys were goofing around the whole time and I got a video of them doing THIS and I can't stop watching it. Charlie laughing hysterically to the point that he BENDS over just kills me!!
