Mr. Photogenic...

This morning I got up at 6:30... I showered, put on my face and made my way to the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea. I could hear Adrey in his room "talking", a perfectly content stream of "words" flowing from his cute little mouth. I finished making my tea, set it by his bottle on the table next to the rocking chair, and then made my way to his room to say good morning to my little man. I slowly walked in and could see his eyes were wide open and he was looking up at his mobile. I peered over the crib and said in a happy voice, "Goooooooood mooooooooorning!".... Adrey about turned inside out with a smile that went from ear to ear and he started kicking his legs with excitement. He was so excited to see ME... his MOMMY!! I wish everyone could start their day with that kind of greeting. It's the best feeling in the whole wide world.

OK, so I do realize that I'm Adrey's mommy, and of course I'm going to think my son is the cutest baby alive and think he's finger-lickin' good, but seriously, if you take a look at the photos below and don't think the same, there's GOT to be something wrong with you... or you have kids of your own!! HA!! My friend, Kelle Hampton, came to our home last weekend and worked her magic. She captured some of the most magical photos of Adrey that we will forever cherish. I have a little, ok, a BIG obsession with Adrey's feet. I must kiss them 1,000 times a day. They're just so cute. I asked Kelle if she could take a picture of me doing what I do best.

We ended the photo shoot in the bathtub. Adrey and I had never taken a bath together, but that will definitely not be the last time we do it. Adrey LOVED it. He was in heaven in there... and so was I. This photo looks like it should be in a magazine or something.

This one says it all... the happiest little guy in the world...
