So, "cooking" dinner is done a little differently these days!! These days I have a 14 pound baby hanging from my chest! Evenings tend to be a bit difficult for Adrey and he gets a little fussy, for no apparent reason to us. He sometimes cries for an hour or so and nothing seems to appease him.... EXCEPT when he's hanging from Mommy... then he's happy as a clam! Soooooo, I strap him in in the evenings and we just "hang" out. It's pretty cute. In this picture he's helping me make a salad:-)Tonight I went to a jewelry party at my friend's house down the street and I put Adrey (dressed in his cute little green PJ's with wittle footies) in the Baby Bjorn and we took a walk down to her house. I wasn't sure how Adrey would be considering it was the "fussy time" of the night. He was SO GOOD!! He was being passed around like a cheese plate and couldn't have been happier! He was smiling and drooling (yes, that's what he does best these days) the whole time! Such a happy camper!
Sunday we got out the Bumbo and thought we'd give it a whirl. He's totally not ready for it, but we wanted to see how he'd do. We put him in and then his head would just kind of go up and down (as if to say "yes")... so of course we started asking him "yes" and "no" questions, just waiting for his "reply". Oh... the things we do for a laugh!!
Last Friday was our friend Chris's 30th Birthday! His dad rented the Sweet Liberty boat and we set sail for an evening! This was the first time we had someone (my sister) watch Adrey so John and I could go out TOGETHER!! We had quite a night! The Gulf was pretty rough, but the weather was beautiful. The sunset was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! It was such a fun night!!
