We christened our pool last weekend. I mean, we've gone in it many times ourselves, but we actually had a POOL PARTY with all our friends from Forest Park where we used to live!! The pool heat was set to 90 degrees. It was heaven. The kids had a ball!
After about an hour, Allison wanted to get out. Charlie didn't go in. So the two of them got in their comfy cozy jammies and played. It's so cute to watch Allison with Charlie because she's so lovey with him:-)
Adrey got a hold of the camera again and was snapping away. We suggested he take a picture of us girls...
The Tronniers must have already left by the time I remembered to take a group shot of all the kiddos. But this was the remaining "pruney" bunch!
I'm totally loving this next series of pictures. I'll narrate.
"Hi. I'm Charlie and I'm cute as pie. Watch me piss of Adrey. That's what I do best."
"So. Adrey. Watcha doin'? Can I watch?"
"Oh, I'm not annoying you yet? Let me get a little closer."
"Oh, was I bothering you?"
"Whoa, that wasn't necessary. At all. That fall was kinda scary."
"Oh, but that's ok! This floor is kinda cool... look I can make "snow angels" in the marble! Look Mom!"
"And rolling side to side with my feet in the air is fun too! I love life!"
Best part of the evening you ask? THE SLEEPOVER! Yup. The entire Wayne family spent the night. So. Much. Fun. We stayed up till after midnight playing Catch Phrase, sipping on some wine and LAUGHING hysterically. Man, I LOVE my family. I'm so completely blessed. Woke up Sunday morning and chilled.
And we (and by "we" I totally mean JOHN) made some KICKIN' omelets... Italian sausage, spinach, goat cheese, onions and tomatoes. And a little side of some perfectly cooked bacon. Oh, my mouth is watering. John... you are the omelet master FO' SHO'.
DE. LIGHT. FUL.
We are doing flash cards with Adrey every night before bed. Each card has a capital letter and a lower case letter for each letter. We got to the "Mm" card and Adrey said.... "Wook mom, 'M' is for McKenna (a classmate of his) and 'm' is for m&m's".
Love. This. Kid.
